Mr Lockwood, a visitor to the moors, arrives at Wuthering Heights to meet the owner of the property he is renting nearby. Caught in a snowstorm and unable to return, the unwelcoming Heathcliff Earnshaw allows him to stay overnight – and the hapless Lockwood is haunted by the ghost of catherine Earnshaw… which sets him on a journey of discovery about the bizarre but enigmatic family….
